HCS Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Hillingdon Stroke Care

Members of HCS management were delighted to join the Hillingdon Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team and partners from across health, social care and the local community to celebrate 10 years of supporting stroke survivors in Hillingdon.

The event was a great opportunity to come together, recognise the work taking place across the borough and celebrate everyone who has contributed to supporting people following a stroke.

A big thank you to Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and the Hillingdon Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team for inviting us to be part of the celebration, and congratulations to everyone involved!

To comply with laws and to respond to and comply with requests from the government, regulators and other third parties with legal authority	The processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
To provide evidence where this is required to exercise or defend legal claims	The processing is necessary in our legitimate interests (for example, to defend ourselves against a legal claim that you or a third party may make against us).

To object	A right to object to our processing of the personal data we hold about you where our lawful basis is for the purpose of our legitimate interests, unless we are able to demonstrate, on balance, legitimate grounds for continuing to process the personal data which override your rights or which are for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
In relation to automated decision-making and profiling	A right for you not to be subject to a decision based solely on an automated process, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
To withdraw	A right to withdraw your consent, where we are relying on it to use your personal data (for example, to provide you with brochures and newsletters).
To complain	You have the right to make a complaint to our supervisory authority, which is the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office.

Policy Measures
Prevention & Detection	The prevention, detection, and reporting of modern slavery in any part of its business or supply chains is the responsibility of all those working for CCS.
Due Diligence	Appropriate due diligence processes must be carried out in relation to modern slavery which may include considering human rights in a sector or country, the type of sector in which a service provider operates, and the countries from which services are provided.
Whistleblowing	CCS encourages anyone to raise any concerns about modern slavery, using its whistleblowing policy if necessary, and will support anyone who acts in good faith.
Recruitment & Equality	CCS recruitment and equalities policies and procedures support its efforts to combat modern slavery and human trafficking.
Ongoing Commitment	CCS will continue to develop its commitment to combat modern slavery and human trafficking.
