Management Conference Raises Over £230 for the British Heart Foundation

We are delighted to share the success of a recent fundraising initiative held during our management conference, where colleagues came together to raise more than £230 in support of the British Heart Foundation.

The event was a wonderful example of teamwork, generosity and community spirit, with staff showing their support by purchasing handmade items and making donations throughout the day. The funds raised will contribute towards the British Heart Foundation’s vital work in funding life-saving research and supporting people affected by heart and circulatory diseases.

A special acknowledgement goes to Pat, one of our long-standing service users, whose contribution made the event particularly meaningful. At over 90 years old, Pat carefully hand-crafted every knitted item sold during the fundraiser, dedicating her time, skill and creativity to supporting the cause.

Her enthusiasm, generosity and determination inspired everyone who attended. Seeing the pride she took in contributing to the event was a powerful reminder of the incredible talents, experiences and contributions of the people we support.

The fundraiser not only helped raise money for an important charity but also brought colleagues together, creating an opportunity to celebrate compassion, community and shared purpose.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who donated, attended or helped organise the event. Your support and generosity contributed to its success and demonstrated the caring values that sit at the heart of our organisation.

Together, we are proud to have supported such a worthwhile cause while celebrating the remarkable contribution of one of our service users.
